Hello and welcome to my class! 😊

My name is Briane, and I am a Canadian English teacher with a Master’s degree, TEFL certification, and over eight years of professional teaching experience. Throughout my career, I have worked with students from many cultural backgrounds, helping them improve their English skills for daily communication, academic goals, work, travel, and confidence in speaking.

I have more than five years of experience teaching Japanese students, primarily through the online platform NativeCamp, where I supported learners of all levels—from beginners building a strong foundation to advanced students refining fluency, pronunciation, and natural expression. Because of this experience, I understand the common challenges Japanese learners face, such as sentence structure, pronunciation, listening comprehension, and speaking confidence, and I know how to explain English in a clear, practical, and encouraging way.

In addition to NativeCamp, I have also taught on Preply and Cambly, working with students from around the world. These platforms strengthened my ability to adapt quickly to different learning styles, personalize lessons, and keep conversations natural, engaging, and goal-oriented. Whether you prefer structured lessons or free conversation with gentle corrections, I can adjust the lesson to suit you.

My teaching style is patient, friendly, and well-organized. I believe learning English should be enjoyable, stress-free, and practical. In my lessons, we focus on:
