 Hello and Welcome! I'm Teacher Serisha Naidoo from South Africa! *Konnichiwa! Hello! It's a true pleasure to meet you!
My name is *Serisha Naidoo*, and I'm a friendly and passionate English teacher joining you all the way from the warm, sunny city of Phoenix in KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa!
I am a fully qualified educator with a *Bachelor's Degree in Education* and an internationally recognized *120-Hour TEFL Certificate*. For me, teaching English is so much more than just grammar rules and vocabulary lists - it's about building bridges, sharing cultures, and helping you find your confident English voice!

My classroom is a happy, safe, and stress-free space! I believe the best learning happens when you are relaxed and having fun. I am a very patient, encouraging, and supportive teacher. Please don't ever be shy or afraid to make mistakes with me - mistakes are wonderful stepping stones to fluency, and I will always correct you gently and kindly so you can improve naturally.

*A Little Bit About Me Outside the Classroom:*
When I'm not teaching, I am a very creative and curious person! I absolutely love reading inspiring books, listening to all kinds of music, and cooking delicious, spicy South African Indian food for my family. I also love nature, the ocean (Durban beach is very close to my home!), and learning about different cultures from around the world.
I am especially fascinated by Japanese culture - your food, your beautiful seasons, your kindness, and your technology! I would be so honored if you could teach me a little about Japan during our lessons too. Cultural exchange is my favorite part of teaching on Eigox!

In my 25-minute kids lesson, we will enjoy:

I am very patient, kind, gentle, and super encouraging. I use a big smile, clear voice, fun gestures, puppets, and props to keep your child focused and happy. I speak slowly and clearly, and I create a safe space where your child will never be shy to try speaking English.
Parents, I will also give you short feedback after the lesson (in simple English) about what we learned and your child's progress.
