Hello, my name is Jennifer and I'm from The United States. I live in Japan now and I teach English to all ages at a conversation school. In my free time I enjoy exploring new places and taking photographs. I also like spending time in nature. Whether it's swimming in the ocean or hiking in the mountains, nature always fills me with joy and provides time for reflection. 

I’ve been working with children for nearly three decades now, starting in my teens as a swim and dance teacher. My first few years of college were spent studying Early Childhood Education and it was then that I worked as preschool teacher for about 2 years. During the pandemic, I returned to University to study English Writing. 

I graduated from Purdue University in 2024 and moved ot Japan to gain experience as an EFL teacher. I"ve also completed the 420-hour, advanced diploma program through i-to-i TEFL. Now I work full-time teaching both in person and online classes. My online classes can have up to 300 students in attendance and I have the second highest rating in the Kansai region. 

I cater my teaching practices to my clients individual needs. I can offer grammar and vocabulary lessons, help with natural pronunciation techniques such as connected speech and rhythm, or focus on business and travel conversations. I will conduct an initial assessment and create custom curriculum that helps you achieve your learning goals. Your success is my passion!
