Hello, my name is Hazel Oso. I was born in Roxas City, Philippines. It’s a small coastal city, but it is relatively peaceful and pleasant. Our house is about 15 minutes away from the beach, where you can see beautiful sunrises and sunsets, especially in summer.

On weekdays, I sometimes go to the beach to unwind. Nowadays, I usually spend my free time watching movies or baking. I love baking a wide variety of cakes and pastries.

I hold a Bachelor of Arts in English. In my free time, I enjoy reading books, watching movies, and baking. I have taught various courses, including test preparation (TOEIC and EIKEN), Business English, and primarily General English conversation classes.

I am a student-centered and adaptive ESL teacher with over a decade of experience working with learners of all ages and proficiency levels. My approach focuses on creating a supportive and engaging environment where students feel confident to speak, make mistakes, and learn from them. I tailor each lesson to the student’s goals, needs, and pace, integrating speaking, listening, reading, and writing to build overall language competence. I provide clear explanations and constructive feedback, with a strong emphasis on pronunciation, intonation, and clarity. My classes are interactive and communicative, using real-life situations, role-plays, and thought-provoking questions to encourage self-expression and fluency. For test preparation, such as IELTS and TOEIC, I combine targeted practice with strategies that improve performance while boosting speaking confidence.
