 I had a chance to meet and chat with Han-sensei for the first time in a while. It was very enjoyable. I heard that she enjoys cycling. I also tried it for the first time. We shared our experiences together. To my surprise, she has taken up roller skating and badminton. She is an active lady.

 I showed some pictures of Japanese cherry blossoms. Han-sensei was very glad to see them. I wonder if we could use “どこでもドア=Dora-emon’s door”, we could exchange our places each other. So she could see beautiful cherry blossoms in full bloom immediately 🌸🌸🌸．I really recommend her see them if she has a chance.

 I showed our Hina-Dolls including mine. She mimicked the Hina-Doll’s face. It’s very similar. I like to see Hina-Dolls. I’d like to explain other Japanese traditional events or food or culture and customs well to non-Japanese people as many as possible. It’s so interesting to learn about them even Japanese. After that Hanniel-sensei sent me special photos. It makes me so happy.

 Yesterday was a date of “2.23(ふ・じ・さん)” symbolized Mt.Fuji. I tried to explain it. Hanniel-sensei asked me that Japanese Kanji had special meaning or not. I tried to explain about my name. Almost all parents have wishes to their children to be healthy and happy. And then they named babies including their hopes. Also we shared our sleeping habits. I had a great time with her as usual.

 団塊の世代の夫が子どもの頃、どんなにやんちゃだったか話を聞いていただきました。いたずらもたくさんしたけど、小さい子も交えてよき仲間に巡り合え、当時はいじめも登校しぶりもなかったなぁと夫。Hanniel 先生の子ども時代の話も伺うことができました。聞き上手で、いつも温かく熱心に話を聞いてくださいます。また的を射たフィードバッグをすぐに返してくださるので、毎回とても勉強になります。次回は、私がどんなに好奇心の塊の子どもだったか話を聞いていただきたいと思います。

 Hanniel-sensei is a good listener. She always listen to my talking earnestly. Today I asked the differences between “heart-warming” and “warm hearted”. Her explanation is simple and easy to understand for me. By the way we drink “hot water” as well in her lesson. What a coincidence !! I drink coffee every morning. But she never drinks coffee, she likes to drink 100% juice.

 If someone has a negative thinking, I recommend him or her to change into a positive thinking. For example “I’m too talkative.” 👉“It means that you have the power to send information.” Hanniel teacher advised me “It also means that you are friendly.” I got it. It’s important to think of things from different points of view as much as possible.

 I introduced my husband’s story to Hanniel. We got married 40 years ago. I met him in matchmaking. We’ve never fought. So she was very surprised to hear that.  東京では、月に一度小学校で避難訓練があります。フィリピンでは7月に大規模な防災に関しての意識づけの行事があるそうです。地震が起きた時の避難の3段階の順序のイラストも見せてもらいました。なんとフィリピンでは、毎日地震が起きているそうです。11年前の東北太平洋沖地震の実話：友人から聞いた話をScriptに起こしたので、それを読み、内容と発音をチェックしていただきました。的確な助言をしていただきました。お手本を録画していただけたので、それを見ながら読む練習をしたいと思います。
