Hello everyone,

It’s such a pleasure to meet you!

My name is Thalie (pronounced Thuh-lee). I was named after one of the Muses in Greek mythology, which feels fitting since I’ve spent more than 8 years inspiring and supporting learners in education.

I’m originally from the United States but have lived abroad for over 20 years. I now call London home — and I absolutely love it here.

I believe that language is a living passport — the more you know, the farther you can go. My goal is to help people reach their aspirations through language, while fostering cultural respect and understanding along the way.

Over the years, I’ve worked across tech, engineering, and education sectors, which allows me to bring real-world insights into my teaching. As a trainer, I’ve had the privilege of working with underserved communities in London, helping more than 50 people find employment or continue into further education.

My strengths lie in helping learners build confidence, expand their vocabulary, and use natural English phrases in conversation. Above all, I aim to create a safe, comfortable, and welcoming environment where every learner feels supported.
