Hi, I am teacher Paula.

Nice to meet you. I am from South Africa and I live in the beautiful city of Cape Town. 

I have taught ESL in Japan for 12 years. I have experince teaching both adults and children. I love teaching English as it is such a great way to communicate and get by when travelling or working in an international environment. I understand learning a foreign language isn't easy and that is why I am here to help you. 

My lessons focus on conversational English as well as business English. I like to cover topics used for daily living and any other topics beneficial to the student. We will learn vocabulary, sentence structure and practice pronunciation. We will always take time to revise previous lessons, this is so important. My lessons are welcoming and engaging. My main goal is to see my students flourish, grow and learn English with confidence and at a pace that is comfortable for them.

A little bit more about me, besides teaching English I have also worked in Real Estate. My task work was to sell and rent out residential properties. In my spare time I love going to the beach, travelling and meeting new people. I often attend outdoor markets to eat international foods and do thrift shopping.
