Hi there! My name is Helen, and I’m from the Philippines. I have a Bachelor's Degree in English. I’ve been teaching for over six years, mostly working with children. Recently, I lived in Japan for a year and worked as an Assistant Language Teacher for a public Elementary school. I’m a friendly, patient, and positive person who enjoys learning about different cultures and meeting new people. In my free time, I love playing badminton, watching nature documentaries, reading, and studying Japanese! Teaching English has always been something close to my heart. I love helping students gain the confidence to express themselves in English. It’s so rewarding to see my students grow and achieve their goals. What motivates me most is creating a supportive and fun learning environment where students feel safe, encouraged, and excited to learn. In my lessons, I make sure to go at your pace, and I always focus on what you need. Whether it’s speaking, listening, vocabulary, or grammar, I’m here to guide you step by step. One of my strengths is correcting pronunciation gently and clearly, so you sound more natural and confident when you speak English.
