ゴールデンウイーク中の過ごし方、鯉のぼり、そして旅行中に起きたビッグミステイクなどについて話しました。
オランダでの訪問スケジュールを話したのですが、彼女はオランダにいたこともありお互いが知っている場所だったので、楽しく会話出来ました。
会話は基本的に英語なのですが、彼女は日本語も話せるのでわからないことがあっても日本語で質問できるという安心感があるので、フリートークを始めてみたい方にとってはとてもいい先生になると思います。

オランダのローカルフードについて教えて頂きました。
現地の食事を食べることは旅の楽しみの一つ。参考になりました。
海外の友人へのお土産は何が良いのかを話してみたのですが、
最初に出てきたのがお互いに抹茶キットカットだったことは面白い結果でした。
２回目のレッスンでしたが、楽しくお話しできました。

レナ先生との初めてのレッスンでした。
私がオランダへ旅行する予定なので、その話を中心にトークしました。
彼女はオランダの学校で学んだとの事なので、現地のことを教えて頂きました。
彼女のクリアな発音と流暢さは聞いているだけで、ハッピーな気持ちになります。
もっと英語学習をしたいなと思わせてくれる素敵な先生です。

I think continuous learning, self-reflection, self-analysis, and applying what you learn in real-world situations are the keys to self-development and personal growth. Learning new languages is indeed very good. This expands your understanding of cultural diversity and is also meaningful for inclusive education.

Going to a new environment where both your educational philosophy and the surrounding environment are aligned and in sync can be truly inspiring.

Yeah, human rights issues can be contested depending on where you talk about them in the world. This is contested even in Europe. But again, I agree that education is an essential human right, as an educator myself.

I think you are correct. Fear comes from the unknown, but curiosity is inspired by the desire to know the unknown. Then, curiosity is a fear for those who fear the unknown, but a fulfilling desire to know it for the curious. Sounds very poetically philosophical. I am curious about what is unknown. Thank you for this meaningful conversation, and I feel smarter now.

I will think more about symbolic images of contrast and duality. It is an interesting topic to think about. I think this is my homework.

My take is that a small animal can symbolize dualism or contrast through its mere presence. A hedgehog's spiky, fluffy contrast tells us its story as a living visual philosophy.

Photography is very interesting. I think the new skills you teach me can be applicable in my own field. Your hard work is impressive, lah.
