Hi! My name is Sharmaine, but you can call me Maine. I enjoy listening to music and podcasts, watching movies, anime, and spending time with my friends. I also love to draw and paint whenever I have free time. As a teacher, I’m cheerful, patient, and friendly. I always do my best to make lessons fun, comfortable, and easy to follow—whether you’re a beginner, a young learner, or an adult looking to improve your skills. Teaching is something I truly enjoy, especially when I see my students grow and become more confident in using English. Even small progress makes a big difference—and I feel happy and proud to be part of that journey. In our lessons, we can practice reading, speaking, pronunciation, and casual conversation. I’m also open to relaxed, everyday topics—like how your day was, your favorite hobbies, or anything you’re interested in. If you enjoy talking about culture, I’d love to hear your stories—and I’d be happy to share things about the Philippines or teach you a little Tagalog, too! One of my strengths is helping students speak more clearly and naturally. I correct pronunciation gently and supportively, so don’t worry if you make mistakes—that’s how we learn!
