初回のレッスンでしたが、自己紹介もそこそこに、自分の話したいことを沢山しゃべらせていただきました。
よく話を聞いてくださり、安心感のあるレッスンでした。
本当はもっと対話をしたかったのですが、私が一方的に長く話してしまい、十分な時間がとれませんでした。
またの機会におしゃべりしたいと思います。

初回のレッスンだったので、25分間フリートークで自己紹介したのですが、わたしが働く業界や仕事のことについて質問をしてくれて、自分の身近なトピックをいろいろ話すことができました。とても明るく思いやりのある先生でした。わたしもいつもより話せたような気がして、またぜひ先生とお話ししたいと思いました。

Thank you very much for your lesson the other day. I was nervous, but I was very glad that you taught me kindly. After that lesson, I had an exam and also some school tests, so I could not send my message soon. I am sorry for being late. I want to keep studying English little by little, and I am looking forward to your next lesson.

Coincidentally, we have both changed our diet recently. As we are of a similar generation, we often do similar things. However, the food that is easily accessible to us is slightly different. It's always very interesting talking to her. Thank you very much!

This was the first lesson in two years, as I was away from Eigox, and Kathryn had a break for a while. In today's lesson, I found the reason why I like learning English. When I was younger, I loved British rock music and Western culture. I remembered this when I was talking to Kathryn about the recent Eric Clapton concert. We are in the same generation that experienced the hot rock boom, so I'm still learning English.

During my lesson, teacher Kathryn spoke slowly and clearly, so it was easy to understand what she said. We enjoyed chatting in a friendly atmosphere. It was a fulfilling lesson, as I felt like I had spoken a lot!

I had never imagined myself geeking about Bowie with a British person. You seem familiar with the era where my favorites were the brightest and most energetic. I have to have more lessons with you.

来月、イギリスへ行くのでブリティッシュイングリッシュを聴いてみたいと思い受講しました。
いつもアメリカ英語で勉強している私にとっては、よりクリアな発音に接することが出来て良かったです。
また、それぞれの違いについても教えて頂き、同じ英語なのに違いがあることに驚きました。
会話ではサッカーやイギリスの観光地などの話が中心でした。
彼女はとても豊富な情報を持っていて話していてとても楽しかったです。
ブリティッシュイングリッシュでのレッスンを希望する方にとっては、素晴らしい先生になると思います。

We talked about a Japanese hermit poet in comparison to the British poets. It was an enjoyable lesson as usual.

初めて受講したので、始まる前は緊張しましたが、先生が明るく挨拶をしてくれて、一気に安心しました。
私は普段からイギリスの動画などで発音を聞いているので、先生の発音はとても聞き取りやすかったです。
話すスピードもとても早いという感じではないので、普段からリスニングの学習をしている方であれば、大丈夫だと思います。
日本と英国の時差もあるので、ビデオでも音声の多少ズレがあるので、そこを理解して望むとやりやすいと思います。
英国の講師と話したいという方はキャサリン先生は本当にお勧めです。

During this lesson we chatted about the use of the word 'esoteric': although it is a very difficult word and we Japanese use this when we explain 'Esoteric Buddhism', many foreign tourists seem to know this meaning. We found this word is used widely in English and is very appropriate when explaining 'esoteric Buddhism' in this lesson. Thank you Kathryn!
