I am Sadet! (Hopefully, your new English Teacher smiley-laughing) 

About me

I am from Albania, a small country in the Balkans, Europe. I was born and raised in Tirana, Albania's capital city. 
I currently study General Medicine. I aspire to become a Pediatrician!

Passions and Hobbies

Even though I study a scientific field, I am very keen on creative arts. 
My passions include watercolor painting and writing, be it in prose or poetry. I write mostly in English and in my mother tongue, Albanian.
I also love traveling, hiking, reading, and learning foreign languages. I can speak English, Italian, and Turkish, and I plan on learning Arabic. Hopefully, someday, I will also learn Japanese. I am fascinated by Japanese culture and can not wait for this to be a cultural exchange experience for both of us.
I have also participated in different debate programs, public speaking events, as well as acting and interpretation. 

科学分野を専攻している私ですが、創造的な芸術にとても熱心です。
私の情熱は、水彩画と、散文であれ詩であれ、文章を書くことです。主に英語と母国語のアルバニア語で書いています。
また、旅行、ハイキング、読書、外国語を学ぶことも大好きです。英語、イタリア語、トルコ語を話すことができ、アラビア語も勉強するつもりです。いつか日本語も勉強したいです。日本文化に魅了されているので、お互いの文化交流になることが待ち遠しいです。
また、さまざまなディベートプログラムやスピーチイベント、演技や通訳にも参加したことがあります。

My relationship with teaching

Before I got into Medicine, I was considering Teaching, as my future career.
Even though I made my choice and started studying Medicine, I could not give up my passion for teaching. Since I was little, I would tutor my younger sibling, cousins, or same-age friends, and I continued doing so up until high school. Needless to say, I enjoyed it thoroughly. Being able to see students’ eyes light up as they grasp a concept they once found difficult is so rewarding.

From my experience I have realized that teachers and doctors have a lot in common: they need to have great communication skills, must be patient, disciplined, and open-minded to solutions that cater to the patients' or the students' needs. All of these characteristics I consider my strengths. 

医学部に入る前、私は将来の職業として教職を考えていました。
医学部を選択し、勉強を始めても、教えることへの情熱は捨てられませんでした。小さい頃から、弟妹やいとこ、同い年の友だちの家庭教師をしていました。言うまでもなく、私はそれを心から楽しみました。難しいと思っていた概念を理解した生徒の目が輝くのを見るのは、とてもやりがいがあります。

私の経験から、教師と医師には多くの共通点があることに気づきました。優れたコミュニケーション能力が必要であり、忍耐強く、規律正しく、患者や生徒のニーズに応える解決策に心を開く必要があります。これらの特性はすべて、私の長所だと考えています。

Why Eigox? 

To me, communication is a fundamental part of being human. We grow and evolve through interacting with each other. Communication allows us to express our emotions, share thoughts or ideas, and build relationships. 
Language barriers can make all of the above difficult, be it in work settings, while traveling, or simply socializing. 
I choose to teach English with Eigox because I want to contribute to a world where communication can become easier and learning can become more accessible. 
Here, people from around the globe, from different backgrounds, can get together, exchange valuable experiences, and learn from each other. 

私にとって、コミュニケーションは人間の基本的な行動だと思っています。私たちは互いに交流することで成長し、進化していく。コミュニケーションによって、私たちは感情を表現し、考えやアイデアを共有し、人間関係を築くことができます。
言葉の壁は、仕事の場であれ、旅行中であれ、単に社交の場であれ、上記のすべてを困難にする可能性があります。
私がEigoxで英語を教えることを選んだのは、コミュニケーションがより簡単になり、学習がより身近になる世界にしたいからです。
ここでは、様々なバックグラウンドを持つ世界中の人々が集まり、貴重な経験を交換し、互いに学び合うことができます。
