こんにちは！ゾイと呼んでください。私はアメリカのオレゴン州に住んでいます。大学生ですが、看護助手として病院でも働いています。異文化を学ぶこと、ビデオゲーム、ダンス、読書が大好きです。楽しいレッスンにしましょう！お会いできるのを楽しみにしています。

お知らせ：私は学生で、病院で8時間または12時間シフトで働いています。そのため、スケジュールが不規則になる週もあります。申し訳ありません！

I am a college student in Oregon, USA! I was born in the Philippines, but moved to the US when I was young, so I grew up bilingually. I speak English with a Standard American Accent
 

Here are some things about myself as an introduction:)

- I'm currently a nursing student and work at a hospital as a Nursing Assistant. I love science and health topics—feel free to chat with me about them!🩺

- I love to play video games on my Nintendo Switch. I also play Roblox and Minecraft too 👾

- I was a State-Champion Swimmer! Backstroke is my favorite and best stroke 🏊🏻‍♀️

- I love beauty, makeup, and fashion! We can talk about current trends! 💅🏻

- My favorite anime is 「Bungou Stray Dogs」 (but I also love shoujo anime like 「Ao Haru Ride」)

I'd love to get to know you through lessons! Some things I can provide for you are:

- Improving your English grammar, fluency, and pronunciation (Let me know if you'd like a focus on American English Pronunciation - Accent Reduction)

- Learn natural English—current slang, idioms, and real-life expressions

My goal is to create a comfortable, friendly space for you to practice English

I can follow a lesson with textbooks/materials that you want, but I also encourage sessions of free talk as well, to fully immerse students in English conversation. 

Lessons are customized to your interests, careers, hobbies, and everyday living, so you can communicate effectively about things that apply to you!

Conversational Free-talk + News Articles and Textbook/Materials 

- In the first lesson, we'll start with brief introductions and goals for lessons, so I know what to help you with. Please tell me about your career, education, travel experience, hobbies, goals, fun facts you know, and interests! 

- I take notes of what students say and use them to form mainly open-ended questions. I encourage students to talk as much as possible, but I will move on when needed. 

Lesson Flow: Kids 

- I like to spend some time discussing the child's interest; they are more eager to talk if they can discuss things they like :D So sorry if it may take a while to get to the main topics/materials 😅

- 保護者の方：お子様のレッスンで、私がもっと多くできることがあればお知らせください（例：～についてもっと話すなど）。

- 時間が余った場合、映画の予告編、教育ビデオ、ゲームなど、お子様が楽しめるものを英語の練習（説明、文法、語彙）の別の方法として見せることができます。

I also offer double lessons, provided they fit into my lesson schedule. Recommended only after our first lesson. 

Please let me know what you'd like to do and what you'd like to improve on (pronunciation, grammar, vocabulary, fluency, etc). Whatever it is, we can do it! d(>_･ )
