 We always discuss a variety of topic from a news article. The discussion helps me to speak up or make a comment. Also I can learn expressions or phrases from sentences in an article.
This time, I learned "mammoth" can be used as an adjective which means extremely large (e.g. mammoth effort). Somehow this reminds me that the expression which was spoken by an idol singer more than 30 years ago.(*^^*)

 レッスン30分前に記事を送ってくれ、レッスン時間を効率的に使えます。準備時間があまりないわけですが、考えのまとまらないままディスカッションに入るのも、より自然に近くて良いのかもしれません。鋭い質問もあり、冷や汗が出ましたが、良いトレーニングになったと思います。ちゃんと反論もあるので、議論の練習に向いている先生だと思います。ミス訂正をお願いしてありましたが、ほとんど無いのがわずかに残念。議論中の訂正は難しいのかもしれませんね。
