Free conversation lesson. Hokkaido has a big snow today. Recent topic is tend to be about covid-19. Also today I explained what made me into English practice. Remembering the time when I started learning is meaningful. Thanks for talking with me, Joanna.

It's the first lesson on Tuesday. And talked about '5G-coronavirus conspiracy theory spurs rash of telecom tower arson fires'. Now, people are freaking out by false information. I think it's one of bad sample. Despite no evidence at all, Conspiracy make crackpots move. So scary.

Today's topic was the word of year 2019 is 'They'. Recently we should accept gender neutral policy. It's really interesting. Unfortunately some rural area can't understand this trend. This controversial issue make me ponder so much. Thanks Joanna. See you.

Today's article was about cancel culture. At first I couldn't understand the meaning of cancel culture. Now I see the meaning. I was thinking of this culture is ONLY in Japan, but America has same one. Joanna guided difficult paragraph, which I told her. It's fun as always :)

Today is a kind of music day. We talked about greatest songs ever.
While we talked, I chose 'No woman, No cry', which I frequently played in my school days.

First of all, I really appreciated her cordial attitude. Last week, I lost my dog and did sudden cancel class. She understood the situation. We talked about feeling of losing pets.
And today's article is about the blockbuster film, Parasite. I learned how the director homaged past Korean cinemas and efforts of spreading Korean movies.

Talked about banning tweet of hatred and discrimination by automated filtering. And also talked about my anecdotes related Twitter bot. It was fun. But unfortunately, it's so regrettable that I got bad stomach-ache.

Today''s lesson is about that blockbuster movie, Parasite. Since it's our mutual hobby, we enjoyed the conversation. Every time we talk, I feel like growing my English skills. Sometime it might be nice to set aside Corona information. Thanks Joanna. Can't wait next lesson.

I and Joanna exchanged recent status of impact of coronavirus. I her area, governor announced not to go out unless you don't have urgent issues. Well then, what should we do? She said it's time to see movies and netflix she never watched. And also we did article lesson we forgot last time. It's about how changed relationship between Japan and China by coronavirus outbreak. This article consisted many of educational topics we never know. Thanks for the lesson.

We talked recent movie and Academy award. Irishmen is bit difficult to critic. And my comment is no good.
The movie 'Parasite' was worth watching but my comment is it's difficult to express because that consists many aspect of background. Unfortunately, we forgot to do article lesson. But maybe next time. See you next time, Joanna.

It was fun as usual. Topics was about voice assistant like Alexa and Siri which is hacked and automatically recorded intimate conversations. For now I and Joanna don't have that sort of devices. But risks like eavesdropping is likely. These days I feel like difficulty speaking English. I need more practice. But her lesson is always fun.

"Here’s how much Americans plan to spend on Valentine’s Day gifts" is today's topic.
I didn't know how much spend on their gift on Valentine's Day in US. I'm completely overwhelmed when reading this article. I talked with Joanna about how does she feel if the gift is expensive. Of course, the answer is predicable but interesting. I totally agree with her. See you next lesson, Joanna!
