Hello, my name is Nicholas, but I prefer to be called Nick smiley-laughing.

 

I am a Canadian, living abroad in Chiang Mai, Thailand.  I moved here for the beautiful weather smiley-cool, delicious food, and cultural history in the country.  I love being a teacher and hope that you will love being my student!  

I enjoy lifting weights, boxing, hiking, and watching sports like football and hockey.  I love reading fantasy or historical fiction books, watching anime, and playing video gamesico_caution11  Currently, my favorite game is Stardew Valley, but I play many different types of games!  I'd love to hear more about your interests, especially if your interests are different from mine.  

I first started teaching at my boxing academy, where I became an instructor, teaching children and adults about the sport of boxing and having fun while doing so!  I loved watching my boxing students develop their skills over time, and can't wait to watch your English develop over time as well.  

My areas of expertise include conversational English, grammar, pronunciation, and business English.  I also have a background in the hospitality industry, so I can give some expert advice in that area in particular ico_bulb1a_3.  In university, I studied English literature and history, so if you have advanced English requirements, I can certainly help.
