My name is Rob. Nice to meet you. I am an artist and musician and writer and tea lover. I love to travel and have been to Osaka for 6 months. I come from San Francisco and used to own a sailboat there. i hope you enjoy my class. So, I grew up in California and my father used to work for IBM back in the 1980's.
I became a teacher in 2012 and started working in Thailand. I love drawing mostly and painting. Learning new instruments and especially I like to practice learning different languages. Currently I am still studying Thai language.
I became a musician when I was about 29 years old and started playing music jobs around California. I became a songwriter of country music but never sold any songs. I played with some famous rock bands " Pearl Jam" and almost went on tour with the lead singer of that band. They are from Seattle.
I teach English slowly and carefully. I focus on pronunciation and sounding correct and I will correct you in the time as we go or I can wait until the end and take notes and tell you at the end of class. I am also learning other languages myself, so I know it helps me to be a better teacher and stay humble with life as a teacher. I am a writer also, So I have a good understanding of grammar and penmanship. I am looking forward to meeting you in the class.
