Greetings, ESL Students! 

I'm Teacher Robyn, a TEFL-certified professional from Cape Town, South Africa, with over 12 years of experience in the food manufacturing industry. But don't let that fool you - I'm also a lover of nature, the outdoors, crafting, and family time. I'm an avid reader, gamer, and puzzle solver, and I love my country and its diversity.

I nurtured my passion for teaching from childhood, and this natural exposure to many different cultures and languages is where my love for languages grew. I've been a full-time online tutor since 2022, and I've tutored privately for 2-3 years, covering subjects like math, sciences, and languages. I have a 120-hour TEFL/TESOL certificate, a 20-hour Teaching Online Practical TEFL/TESOL component, and a Business English component. I recently received my 150-hour Advanced TEFL/TESOL Certificate and 60-hour TEFL/TESOL certificate for TEYL (Teaching English to Young (beginner) Learners.

My strengths in the ESL Classroom: I am skilled at correcting errors in a way that preserves the natural flow of conversation and helps students learn to self-correct. I build rapport with students quickly and easily, and I am always enthusiastic, engaged, and welcoming.

My teaching approach is patient and communicative, and I aim to personalize English language learning for all my students. I offer comprehensive lessons covering reading, writing, listening, grammar,  pronunciation, and conversational skills for all levels of learners.
