Hello and welcome! 👋

My name is Ipeleng, but you can call me Teacher Ipi. I’m from the beautiful country of South Africa, and I’m based in Johannesburg.

I’m a TEFL-certified Online English Teacher with over 3 years of online ESL teaching experience. During this time, I have taught 5,000+ online lessons to students from diverse cultural backgrounds and across different age groups. This experience has helped me understand that every student learns differently, so I aim to make each lesson comfortable, engaging and suited to the learner’s individual needs.

I hold a 120-hour TEFL certificate, a Postgraduate Diploma in Business Administration and a Bachelor of Arts in Business Studies, which has given me a strong interest in both language development and practical communication skills.

My Teaching Approach 🌟

My goal is to create a friendly and supportive classroom where you feel comfortable speaking English, making mistakes, asking questions and building your confidence.

I believe that learning English should be practical and enjoyable. Whether you want to improve your everyday conversation, pronunciation, grammar and vocabulary, prepare for a job interview, develop your business communication skills, or simply become more confident speaking English, I will work with you towards your goals.

I am a patient and encouraging teacher, and I enjoy celebrating progress with my students - whether it’s learning a new word, answering a question with confidence, having a longer conversation, or simply feeling more comfortable using English.

Outside the classroom, I enjoy cooking simple dishes, taking short walks, watching movies and dramas/series, and reading, especially books about personal development and inspiring life stories.

南アフリカ出身のイペレン先生は、真面目でしっかり者の先生です。 TEFL（外国人に英語を教える資格）を取得しており、MBAも獲得しているので、 キッズレッスン・日常英会話・ビジネス英会話と幅広く対応可能です。 休日には、お菓子作りや料理、ウォーキング、映画鑑賞などをして自分との時間を大切にしています。また、先生にはレッスンに対するこだわりがあり、その時の教材に合ったクイズやエクササイズを用意し、25分間目一杯楽しんでいただける工夫を心がけているそうです！それでは、イペレン先生を宜しくお願いします♪ （2023/6/12　記載）
