Hi there. I'm Pamela Lubbe. I'm from South Africa, Paarl (60 minutes drive from Cape Town). My town is build around wine farms. I have two sons 23 and 18 years old. My husband migrates to work in America for 8 months of the year. So I can clean the pool, change a light bulb and run a household by myself. I go to gym daily to spin, Zumba or do a shape class. Before lockdown we used to box, I even have my own pink gloves. I have two super clever schnauzers who lie in my office all day long. When I do not teach English online I am an accountant who do tax and accounting for companies in and around Paarl. I am very patient as a teacher and will correct you kindly. I adapt to my student to make them feel at ease and comfortable to try their new English in class. I can help you correct pronunciation. I like to build a lesson around an interesting or funny short youtube video, song or internet article. I have taught English to second language students in a school for 5 years (2 years 16-18 year olds and 3 years 10-12 year olds). I have a vast knowledge of grammar and tenses if you prefer a more structured lesson. I can help you with business English in the line of how to set up a meeting, write an agenda or minutes after a meeting. Professional emials, business idioms etc. I have a good sense of humour and like to laugh a lot. I am neither silly nor stupid but like to laugh at myself when I do something not so clever.
