Hi, I am from Ireland, and I am a fully qualified teacher, both in the UK and the Republic Ireland, with over ten years teaching experience. My working experience took me to Primary and Secondary schools within China, UK, Ireland, Mongolia, and, last year, Switzerland, involving from primary school literacy, SET preparation, right up to GCSE and A levels, and taught within the British and Irish curriculums. I have also much experience teaching EFL to adults and children. I have taught IELTS, Cambridge, Trinity, and business and conversational English, and am very confident in dealing with all levels of students, be they beginner or specialist.
My teaching is inclusive rather than exclusive. I have a deep love of teaching, and my lessons aim to include and engage in a lively and participative way.
I love travelling and experiencing new cultures and traditions. I have travelled to many western European countries and went to Korea (for the World Cup), and lived in China, Korea, Mongolia, the Netherlands, Scotland, London, and in Wales where I did my PGCE course, and am presently living in Switzerland. Personally I believe that my time living in Asian countries and travelling around Europe is of huge benefit to my teaching, and I have many great stories and amazing experiences to share with my students.
Apart from my teaching experience, I also hold a football-coaching certificate, love rock/punk music/dance, history, surfing the net, and generally helping my students as much as possible.(of course!)
I have a proven track record with teaching TEFL to highly qualified and ambitious adults. I also can teach young learners if required. 中国、イギリス、アイルランド、モンゴルの小学校・中学校で指導経験があり、昨年はスイスにてGCSE (アイルランドで義務教育修了時に受けるテスト) のレベルAに当たる、SETの初等教育文学にもイギリスとアイルランドの指導方法を用いて携わりました。
また、お子様や大人の方に対してEFL (第二言語としての英語) を教えた経験もあります。またIELTSやCambridge、Trinityやビジネス英会話、日常会話の指導経験もあり、すべてのレベルの生徒に対応する自信があります。
私のレッスンは、ある特定の生徒に限定するということはなく、どなたでもご受講頂けます。私は教えることが大好きでレッスンは参加型の活気のあるものにすることを目標としています。
私は旅行する事、新しい文化・伝統を体験する事が好きです。私は多くの西洋諸国に旅行した経験があります。ワールドカップを見るために韓国にも行きました。中国を始め、韓国、モンゴル、オランダ、スコットランド、ロンドンそしてウェールズに住んだ事があります。[そこではPGCE (英語学の学位) のコースを終えました。]
そして、現在はスイスに住んでいます。個人的にアジアの国々に住んだ事や、ヨーロッパ中を旅行したことは私の指導方法に多大に影響を与えていると思っています。ですので、生徒のみなさんにシェアする面白いお話や、経験がたくさんあります。
指導経験の他に、私はサッカーのコーチの資格を持っています。ロックやパンクの音楽、ダンスが好きで歴史やネットサーフィンも好きです。もちろん全力で生徒さんのお手伝いをさせて頂きます。
