Good day! My name is Kiara. I am from the Philippines. One of the things that I like to do is going out and appreciate nature. I like going to beaches and climb mountains. I also love reading and learning new things. I have been an ESL teacher for the past three years and I loved every moment of it. My 140-hour TESOL diploma allows me to teach both general English and English for specific purposes such as Business English, Conversational English and so on. There’s no job more important than teaching the future leaders of our world the information they need to know, but more importantly, showing them their worth, their potential, and their ability to form their own opinions by thinking critically and observing the world around them. By teaching students in a wide range of ages and situations for over three years, I have honed my communication, creativity and motivational skills. One of my strongest skills is that I am a very good at listening. So I will listen attentively to your necessities as a student. I can create a plan for you so that we can reach your personal and professional goals. My teaching philosophy is to make my lesson plans relatable. For example, comparing happenings in the plays to events in our daily lives. This not only helps students understand the stories but also helps them draw their own conclusions.
