Hello! My name is Kristin and I am an ESL teacher who has been teaching for 2 years in South Africa. I really enjoy teaching as I love sharing my knowledge of the English language with others and being helpful. Living in South Africa has given me many opportunities to form friendships with people of different cultures and native languages and teaching me new things about said cultures and languages! It also means that I've had to learn a different language too; Afrikaans, a native African language, so I understand how scary it can be to learn a new skill. However, I am very patient, encouraging and enthusiastic with students as in my teaching experience is the best way to help students learn very well. I'm looking very forward to meeting you in class if you are interested and helping you move forward in your learning journey. |
