My name is Vimbai Samukange, and I am from Zimbabwe. I am in my early forties and have had the opportunity to live and work in several countries, including the United Arab Emirates, Japan, and Romania. These international experiences have exposed me to diverse cultures and strengthened my communication and interpersonal skills. I hold academic qualifications from the University of Zimbabwe, Kyoto University in Japan, and the Okinawa Institute of Science and Technology. Professionally, I am a researcher at a leading research institute in Zimbabwe, where I focus on seed research and the development of climate-resilient crop varieties to support farmers in adapting to changing environmental conditions. I am passionate about learning, teaching, and sharing knowledge. My international background, strong educational foundation, and experience communicating complex scientific concepts make me well suited to teaching English to learners from diverse backgrounds. In my free time, I enjoy gardening, which reflects my love for nature and continuous learning. |
