Hello there, my name is Keara, I am a Native English speaker from South Africa. I am a professional English Teacher. I have a passion for languages, history and art. I love the outdoors and often go hiking, fishing, and camping. I like to travel and meet new people, I enjoy experiencing cultural exchanges. 

I hold a bachelor’s degree in Education (University of South Africa), I also hold a CELTA teaching certificate (University of Cambridge). I have many years of teaching experience to both adults and juniors (Age 3+).

I have a great passion for teaching English as it brings me immense joy to help other people achieve success in their language learning journey. I believe English is a universal tool we can use to bring us closer together, and help us to better understand each other’s differences. I enjoy having conversations that are interesting and filled with a good sense of humor, as well as learning about different cultures and customs.

I believe that building a good rapport and having open communication with my students is the foundation for a productive and successful learning environment. I use individually tailored teaching methods to implement a solid teaching foundation and encourage open communication. My main aim in each lesson is to increase the student's comprehension levels and conversational skills. I focus on the student's needs and requirements.

I set goals, and use different teaching styles to accomplish these goals. I have over six years of online teaching experience.My lessons are fun and lively. I look forward to meeting you, and learning all about your language goals so that we may work hard together to reach them!
