Hi. My name is Shiela. I am an online ESL teacher from the Philippines.

I took up AB English in the university and after college, I worked as a medical representative for a health insurance company based in the US. I also worked as a collections specialist for Credit One bank which is a credit card company in the US as well. In 2016, I decided to teach English as a second language to other nationalities.

I have been teaching English as a Second Language to Korean, Chinese, Japanese and French students for more than 9 years now. I believe in a personalized learning approach and I love to innovate strategies to effectively teach English to my students. My main goal as an ESL teacher is to help my students communicate effectively in English. I would love for them to be able to express themselves better and more confidently so I focus on helping them improve their communication skills.

I'm proud to say that while working as an online ESL teacher, I have received a number of awards such as Best Teacher, Top Satisfaction Rate, Zero Complaints and Most Popular Teacher.
