Hello there. My name is Leon Thornton, age 48 from London, England. I am a published science fiction author, and a TEFL certified English teacher. From a young age I have had a fascination with words. It stems from having an active imagination and a desire to communicate my stories using interesting language and colourful vocabulary.
My passion other than writing is to travel. I love seeing new places and learning about the many diverse cultures throughout the world. I have sailed extensively on boats and visited many shores on my travels. From teaching sailing to non English speakers, I have a good grounding of how to breach the language barriers that stave off good communication.
