We talked about my work, then I explained how my laboratory tasks proceed. She has been curious over my long speaking, which made me so confront to talk. Thank you:)

Today we were talking about contract of employment in Japanese universities. Universities sometimes adopt discretionary labour system. Under this system, workers can decide working time, but usually they are not paid for their "overtime". There are also some limited term employees and part-time lectures. It was difficult to explain the differences, but it was a good practice for me. Thank you, Jing. See you.

Today we talked about today's subway accident in Kyoto and teachers' role or activities in Japanese universities. I explained an accident that I encountered today. Because of the power interruption, subway stopped. After a while, once it started to go, but then a train which went before us faced a trouble and couldn't go. We waited for its repair for more than 30 mins, but at last we had to go back to the last station and to change into other transportation. As for teacher's role, I told her four roles like research, education, administration and regional contribution. I enjoyed our chatting very much. Thank you, Jing. See you. Take care.

Today We talked about my school life and programing.
It's been a long time since I've taken the last lesson, so very hard.

Today I showed her my presentation slides and explained them. She commented that each word of titles should be capitalized. It's helpful. I forgot it. So I couldn't find best words in English.
But I was very fun. Because I spoke English very much.

This was my son's lesson.
After talking about recent events for a while, we got on to Lesson 1 of 100 power topics at lower intermediate level. Following the textbook, Jing asked him to read the text aloud in terns and to respond some questions. It might be too difficult for him, but Jing patiently and cheerfully encouraged him to speak more in English. Thank you, Jing. See you.

We talked about supervising teachers in a university and discussed about vocational colleges and universities. I realized that I didn't consider the difference of these 2 types of school deeply. It was an interesting discussion for me. Thank you, Jing. See you.
