Nice to meet you, my name is Ndyana but you can call me Indy. I come from a multi-cultural family so I've been learning different languages for most of my life but English has been my constant and I have a great passion for instilling it in others. I have also been travelling for most of my life because I love experiencing different cultures, languages, foods and music. I'm also a big lover of films (I'm actually continuing my studies by pursuing a degree in film) and I'm quite an active person so I'll always jump at the chance to go hiking or swimming.
I have been teaching for over five years and I like to make learning a fun and interesting experience. My favourite thing about learning is the smile and excitement my students have when they are enjoying their lessons. My teaching style is versitile and adaptable so I will also work to my students' needs. This can range from general conversation on a broad spectrum of topics, to business english (this is a forte of mine as I have many years of experience working in corporate environments). I'm also strong with pronuncication, which is a vital component when learning a new language, as well as vocabulary and grammar.
I speak with a fast speed like that of a native speaker because I believe this is the best way to immerse a student in the new language. With more exposure, you will be more comfortable conversing with English speakers this way, but I am always happy to slow down to a speed that you are more comfortable with. Also, I will usually use vocabulary at level between intermediate or advanced for the same reason but this is also why it is very important to tell me when you don't understand a word or phrase and I will be very happy to explain it.
