Today, Mio learned to move her body parts according to Xandra's directions.I
am happy to find out that She became able to read simple words without my help.

Today, Shuichi learned some adjectives related to animals. Then, he learned words with "the" sound. He had hard time pronouncing them. I really agree with Xandra's comment that Japanese people should open our mouths wide when we speak English.

Today, Mio learned some action verbs. As she had fun practicing phonics at Starfall's website during the weekend, she is now able to read simple words. I think she is motivated to learn English thanks to Xandra's lesson.

Today, Shuichi learned what he puts on to go outside or to go to the beach. He also learned to explain his body parts using both singular and plural forms. Thank you for Xandra's coaching, his pronunciation improves little by little.

Today, Mio learned how to answer the question " What's this?" and "What are they?". She also learned how to pronounce the words with "an". I'm happy that now she got used to the English lesson with Xandra.

Today, Shuichi learned the difference between an and am. Xandra showed him how to move the tongue and lips to pronounce those letters correctly. Shuichi enjoyed her properly constructed lesson.

Today, Mio told Xandra what she ate at breakfast and dinner. When Xandra asked her for the beginning letter of each word, she could give correct answers in most cases, to my surprise. I hope she will be able to speak English without being afraid of making mistakes.

Our lesson was very productive for a 25 minute lesson as we talked about various things and the fact that she had sent me a file in advance for me to read during the lesson, which was really nice of her. She's highly reliable as a teacher and I hope to have more lessons with her.

Today is the first online English lesson for Mio. She learned how to introduce herself. The Starfall.com seems to be an appropriate tool for my children to learn phonics. I'll try to make them do the activities on that site. Thank you, Xandra.

This is the first online English lesson for my son. As he is a beginner at English, the lesson seems a little difficult for him. But he concentrated all his attention on the lesson. I think Xandra is very good at teaching English to kids.
