Xandra's lesson is always fun, easy to understand and really educational. Answering our request, she taught the grammar well and had the student make full sentences again and again. Great practice. Thank you so much and see you next time!

Thank you for the lesson today.

At the beginning of our class I shared my win of this week. I got a present of White Day from my boyfriend!!

Then we continued to talk about the company orientation. I like your witty comment to the photo of textbook.

Have a nice weekend!
I'm really looking forward to hearing your story of this weekend!

Thank you for the lesson today.

You taught me some slang which people are using in chat or email.
When you said 'TTYL' or 'BRB', I felt like a kind of quiz.
Also in Japan, a lot of new words are born frequently but honestly I can't catch up with it!
Sometimes my father tells me the new word which is popular among young people.
Like your father taught you 'groupie'!!

After your class, I remembered the values of my company.
I almost forgot them but it was very important for me when I decided to work for.
I'll return to my job next month so I'd like to confirm my company's mission or value and recapture the feelings I had when I was a new employee!

Thank you for the lesson today.

We talked about our weekends. You taught me you watched 3 movies.
I like the series of "The Lord of the Rings" but I haven't seen movies of Hobbit.
I'm going to watch them so that I can discuss about it with you.

We also talked about dogs.
Having dogs is very taugh and there is a lot of doing to keep it.
When I began to have my first dog I became nervous too.
But dog is smart animal so I think there is no concern to worry so much.
Dog always watches you and learns automatically.
Honestly this "automatically" is sometimes annoying...lol.
Anyway, I'm looking forward that your dog will be coming in your home!!

Thank you for the lesson today.
I was glad to hear that you decided to welcome a new family 'dog'!!
I think I can be your tutor of dog training. ^-^

Today we talked about the employment contract.
I admired a working style of American's which is so smart to manage their time.
Nowadays some Japanese companies start to implement a 'No overtime work day' once a week. Yes, once a week...lol
But it has been not worked well yet. Especially my company!
This is one of my missions as consultant to solve such issue.

Thank you for the lesson today.

I will try not to become so nervous about the usage of words in casual/formal situation.
I could understand the more important things are tone of voice or attitude.

The exercise, which is warning for delinquent employee, was very interesting for me.
I did it in very typical way of Japanese.
So I could know the difference in the way of angry/warning between Japan and US.
It was also interesting!

I learned a new expression "Let's play it by ear!".
This phrase became my favorite.
I'll say it to "Tokyo" people.
I'll try to use expressions that I learned in the lesson.
Have a nice weekend!
I'm looking forward to talking with you soon!

Thank you for the lesson.

I could clearly understand the meaning of "tap into".
It was very interesting to know its historical background.

I also enjoyed to talk about a generation gaps.
In Japan, there is similar expression as "millennial generation".
We call it "Yutori generation" and my boss always complains their attitude.
It is interesting this kind of story is talked everywhere.

Thank you for the lesson.

Today we talked about salary according to a material.
We discussed about gender equiality in salary and hiring.
After the class, I read some survey result issued by Japanese government. You were right! I found some issues still remained in Japanese companies. I'm lucky that I haven't recieved any unfair treatment with gender in my career.
I must solve these issues as my job!
... but there is complex matters like culture or history something like that.
I want to discuss again with you if I get a chance.

Thank you for the lesson.
I enjoyed it as always.

When we talked about the expression of "work one's way up to", I felt the language is living.
We can understand a meaning of words from dictionaries but sometimes it has changed a little according to our life-style.

Your lesson always telling me these changes. If I studied alone I could not know them. I want to learn a lot from you.
