Today, Mio learned to say what she likes to do and how may times she does the activity in a week. Her reading skill has improved recently. I bought her an easy spelling book to practice writing in her spare time.

Today, Shuichi learned many new words through You Tube videos and a phonics book. I noticed that he became able to pronounce English words out loud as the way he speaks Japanese. Thank you for your lesson, Xandra.

Thank you very much for your wonderful lesson. Today you and my daughter began the lesson with a free conversation. And then you had a Show and Tell each other where each of you piked up three favorite things and explained about them. She could make only very short sentences about them and I helped her a lot to elaborate them but it was a lot of fun.
Then she watched a video to learn some oposite words which was a really good introductory activity to the text. I always appreciate your great personality too.

Shuichi has become able to read many words now. Since he is good at understanding rules, our phonics text seems to be appropriate for him to improve his reading skills. I really appreciate Xandra's professional lessons.

Today, Mio learned how to explain different looks of animals. After that, Xandra and Mio asked each other what they had. After the lesson,
Mio said the phonics book seemed to become easier than before.

Today, Shuichi learned to say what he can. Although he seems to understand the rules of phonics and rhymes, he still has difficulties in differentiating some consonants such as "b" and "v",and "s" and "sh".

Today, Mio learned how to respond to "How are you doing?" in different ways. She also learned to explain what she wears. Her reading skill seems to improve little by little.

Today, Mio learned to tell the colour of things she saw in our house. After
that, she learned to read the words with et sound at their end. She likes to watch the Word Families by Little Fox, and so do I.

Today, Shuichi and Xandra asked each other whether she or he likes certain foods. I found out that he seemed to understand the rules of phonics. As he likes reading books in Japanese, he said after today's lesson that he wants to be able to read English books as well in the future.

Today, Mio learned to move her body parts according to Xandra's directions.I
am happy to find out that She became able to read simple words without my help.

Today, Shuichi learned some adjectives related to animals. Then, he learned words with "the" sound. He had hard time pronouncing them. I really agree with Xandra's comment that Japanese people should open our mouths wide when we speak English.

Today, Mio learned some action verbs. As she had fun practicing phonics at Starfall's website during the weekend, she is now able to read simple words. I think she is motivated to learn English thanks to Xandra's lesson.

Today, Shuichi learned what he puts on to go outside or to go to the beach. He also learned to explain his body parts using both singular and plural forms. Thank you for Xandra's coaching, his pronunciation improves little by little.
