We talked about leisure activities; I played the piano when I was elementary. On top of playing the piano, I played baseball. Recent leisure is a far cry from conventional leisure it was twenty years ago. However, Internet technology changed our perspective on leisure significantly. Nowadays, people spend a long time at home.

I reserved two lessons in a row. This time, our theme was jobs. The job I wanted to talk about was nothing other than being a prime minister of Japan. The person I mentioned displayed some qualities of a prime minister. In my way of thinking, even if highly paid, I wouldn't want to be a novelist. I could find "to my way of thinking" in dictionaries but not "in my way of thinking." Maybe "in my way of thinking" is colloquial.

Our free conversation subject was books. I spoke of my favorite author and his biography of two Japanese political figures; both of them were prime ministers. It seems to me reading comics is a waste of time. When I was a child, there were no such things as ebooks. Current technology is a far cry from the technology it was twenty years ago.

Our free conversation's subject was a crime. I talked about a scam in which an older person was deceived by a young culprit who pretended to be his grandson. When he visited a police station, he was advised that he should have contacted the station before he met with his "grandson." I also addressed my experience with a security officer who broke into my room while staying in a hotel in a foreign country. I always appreciate your help and corrections.

Our theme was culture; I spoke of Shinto, which originated in Japan. Some people pick fortune papers that can be found around shrines in Japan. Although almost all of our funerals are done in the Buddhist way, most people don't have a religion - they are atheists.

We had two classes in a row. This time, our theme was sports. I rode a bicycle everywhere I could. When I entered high school, I made friends with many students through sports. Yesterday, when I watched the major league baseball game, I was on the edge of my seat; my take on this is that Japanese baseball cannot hold a candle to U.S. baseball.

We had a free conversation. Since our subject was tourism, I remembered that out of the blue, my grandmother took me to Hong Kong one day. Eco-tourism is a far cry from tourism a few decades ago; it costs an arm and a leg because they prefer ships to airplanes.

I reserved two lessons in a row. This time, our subject was languages. When I stayed in Taiwan, there were no Japanese people; I had butterflies in my stomach to give a presentation in Chinese. But, finally, I found my feet - my experience was superb. Studying foreign languages widens our job opportunities. Korean grammar is similar to Japanese.

We had a pleasant free conversation, whose theme was computers and technology. Our parents' generation is fixed in their ways; it took a while to use computers, but eventually, they found their feet. I bet there will be more autonomous/self-driving cars in the future. Maybe we can trip to the Moon affordably. On the other hand, using computers is time-consuming - the graphics are so vivid, though. A PC is always necessary for my work.

The Internet has widened the gap between the poor and rich; while my mother was fixed in her way and resistant to the Internet, the rich can conduct online business and stock trading and buy plane tickets through the Internet - they might lose time and money, though. On the other hand, my room's Mbps is more than 500, so I can connect to Netflix smoothly. Online education is showing promise. However, when students couldn't go to university, they shut off their cameras to my online lectures. Thus, I decided to call on a student; this was the method I used to solve the problematic situation. Enjoy the rest of the Golden Week!

I enjoyed the free conversation, whose theme was adventures. I spoke of my experience in a safari park where I was scared of many animals - anyone can go there if they have some free time. In addition, when I was young, I rode a bike everywhere I could. Sadly, some people harm the environment.

I asked a former Japanese prime minister a lot about his career in my dream, which made me feel comfortable and helped me unwind. I don't snore anymore after taking surgery for my nasal septum; I cannot sleep while I'm giving a lecture.

I had a whale of a time on our conversation! Communication was thematic; my friend is down to earth. We rarely write hand-written letters except for special occasions such as ceremonies, birthdays, and parties - I often misspell words. On social media, I sometimes decline to communicate and ignore their messages.

Nowadays, creating and sharing, for example, Google documents is child's play, which has made it possible for us to study at a foreign university while working in Japan, which was unthinkable in, say, ten years ago. Although I had a hard time studying online at a graduate school in the U.S., eventually, I could keep up with the classes and find my feet.

Our topic was volunteering. When I spoke of volunteering in natural disasters such as the Tohoku Earthquake in 2011, I feel down in the dumps.
