It was great to see Samantha again today! We began with a small talk about my weekend and continued to talk about weather. She taught me many expressions as to weather such as drizzle, downpour, raining cats and dogs, breezy, blustery, gail force winds, come rain or shine, a sorm is brewing, etc. Thanks a million! |

Thank you for today's lesson. I couldn't catch "hot air" you pronounced, so I realized again I should practice speaking English sounds correctly. Thank you for listening to my talk about Cappadocia in Turkey. I learned a phrase "file a complaint," and "things get out of hands." I always look forward to talking with you, Samantha. |

Samantha and I talked about the story that I went to the beach yesterday, Marine day and Mountain day. Then We worked on the Power Topic. I learned a lot especially about the difference between "as well as" and "as much as". Thank you. Today's lesson was so fun and useful. See you next lesson! |

Thank you for your lesson, Samantha. I learned a phrase, "if it's any consolation," "if it helps you feel better." The phrase, "should any problems come up" would be helpful. I couldn't pronounce the sound "gr" well, but you corrected it again. Thank you. |

I told her that I had dinner with a friend who plans to work abroad. I wanted to explain more accurately how she feels about being in Japan. Maybe next time:) Thank you Samantha! |

It was great to speak with her. I told her about my weekend and we continued to talk about "fashion." I learned some new words including "skimpy","baggy" and "dressy casual." I also practiced using them in a sentence. Afterward we discussed the customs of tattoos and piercings. Thank you :) |

Thank you for your help with my pronunciation practice. I get my tongue tied. I have much difficulty linking words. I'll be careful with "gr" sound. |

We had free conversation. I talked more than listening to her this time. I felt I needed to improve more and more as my English wasn't so good. Will continue to move on. |

Thank you for your today's lesson. I learned a useful phrase, "develop a deep appreciate for." When I talked about a person I admire, I had to start to talk the conclusion. Thank you for being patient. |

Today's topic was about terms we can find at restaurants. Appetizer, starter, main course, entree, a la mode, a la carte etc. Those wards are much familiar to me, but I find it difficult to use them in daily conversation. I would like to practice naturally expressing the vocabulary. Thank you:) |

There are lots of words that native English speakers use in common but many Japanese English learners are unfamiliar. In today's lesson, we focused on the topic of food and I practised making some original sentences with the useful words, including "bland","mushy","greasy","lumpy" and so on. I hope I will naturally be able to express them in daily conversation. Thank you! |
