Nice to speak with you! I reviewed the ideoms I learned during our last lesson and I went over two new ones - “sink or swim” & “thrown in the deep end.” I understood the meanings, but it is hard for me to use them in daily conversation. So I need more practice. Thank you so much :)

I have a habit to pronaunce "r" in some words.

Today we talked about the past few days and whether we believe in ghosts or not, since my son is scared of sleeping by himself. We continued over some idioms about competition and I learned "to be neck and neck", "keep your eye on the ball" and "every man for himself." Thank you so much!

I told this to my girlfriend and she said that her sister made same mistake.
This is almost swindling.

Samantha is very knowledgeable about international affairs because of her lots of experiences in various contries she lived. Her English sounds very professional and very stick to English grammar, which I think is one of the features of Canadian English. I hope that I can her other stories in her current living Georgia next time.

Today we talked about making decisions and I learned several useful expressions, including "to have second thoughts," "to change one's mind," "to give it a lot of thought," and "to make a tentative decision."
