It was nice talking with you again! Today we discussed the topic of ambition. I worked on some vocabulary including "enthusiastic","loyal","disciplined" and "remuneration." Explaining the meanings of them in English is not easy, but I clearly come to feel my improvement while struggling to do it. Thank you:)

Today we talked about superstitions. I told her that "8" is a lucky number in Japan and she told me about "666" being associated with devil. I learned the word "gullible" and practiced using it in a sentence. Thank you so much:)

I told her that my daughter's sports day was cancelled due to the rain yesterday and we continued to talk about the topic of family. She helped me so much with my expressing in English and also typed proper sentences in the chat box. Thanks a million!

This was our first lesson. We began with self-introduction. She at first told me her staying country and recent visited countries as well as her family affairs. Then I introduced myself to her. We talked about some countries visited before. Then we talked about how to motivate a junior high school student to learn English. She introduced me her experiences like reading short stories and news, using duolingo, which is a kind of game which promotes learning foreign languages. It was useful information. After a bit of catching up, we proceeded to take up a couple of idioms related to "family." I learned about what "the black sheep" and "push my buttons" mean and how to express them in sentences. She always corrects my sentences and types proper phrases which are very useful for reviewing myself. Thank you:)
