Hi there! My name is Alex, I'm from Kansas in the middle of America. I've been a teacher for a few years now, and I love seeing students learn. I'd love to chat with you about any number of things--I like pop culture and keep up with new movies and video games, but I also love to talk about academic topics like science and history! If you'd rather ask questions about English and have something particular in mind, I can do that, too. Not only have I spoken English my whole life, but I also try to challenge myself constantly with tough books and new vocabulary, and when I was in school I excelled at grammar lessons. All this means that there isn't very much about English that I don't know, and I think I can turn that knowledge into answers for your pressing questions. I love to give feedback! Even if you don't make any mistakes, I can tell you how your tone sounds, or I can suggest ways to use fancier or more flavorful new words. I can even tell you a few ways that Americans break the grammar rules, so you can sound more natural and casual even in a second language! I look forward to hearing from you! |
