いつもありがとうございます。
非常に勉強になる先生です。
エイゴックスが提供しているテキストを利用していますが、
テキストからの、新たな表現、そこからの会話の材料がとてもたくさん学ぶことができます。
また、日本在住の先生なので、表現が上手く出てこないときに、ニュアンスの違いから、複数の表現とそれぞれの違いなども幅広く教えてくださります。
特に、レッスン後に復習をする方は、復習材料が豊富で充実すると思います。
復習が追いつかないときは、、、同じ事を繰り返し聞いています。（それに気が付いて、〇回目だ！自ら焦る事もあります）

 Thank you for another great lesson, Mellisa.
We had a conversation about our shopping habits in this class, as I requested.
Firstly, we started by catching up with each other, and I told her my complaints about the current condition of the internet connection.
And then, we moved on to the main topic. We both have the same view on the Japanese e-commerce sites, which we've found uncomfortable to use. And I tried to explain why they have been so, taking one example site. Mellisa mentioned the danger of one company dominating the industry and her attempt to support local shops.
I think we became lively over this topic, but there were moments when I felt frustrated about the scarcity of my vocabulary because I had a lot more to tell her.
Thank you again, Mellisa. I think we could talk about this topic again.

日本在住の先生なので、微妙なニュアンスも学ぶことができて大変勉強になります。
そして、復習ができるようにチャットボックスを使って丁寧に教えてくださります。
冠詞なども抜けてしまう事も多いのですが、ポイントを拾ってくださります。
自分では気が付かず抜けている部分、抜けていない部分、チャットボックスで記録として残してくださるので、復習の教材にもなります。

 Today, we had a free-conversation class.
We began by catching up and talking about my recent move. And then we soon got into proofreading my journal entry. I put it onto our chat window and read it aloud. Melissa and I went over my journal line by line, and she corrected mistakes and suggested nicer words and expressions.
Finally, we talked about the difficulty of facing personal issues rather than ignoring them.
I found it really useful that she made the corrected journal into a Word file.
Melissa is a very skillful instructor who established an effective and efficient way of teaching, but I think there has to be more to an excellent teacher than just being good at teaching. I'm sure she has it.
