日曜日の早朝クラスでした。お互いの近況を話し合って、その後、小説のわからないところを説明してもらいました。drain the container of vial という箇所があったので、これは薬を飲まずに捨てたのかと思っていましたが、そうではなく、飲み干したのだとの説明があり驚きました。知っているつもりでいても、自分の解釈が間違っていることも多いので、やはり知ったつもりにならずにネイティブチェックは必要だなと改めて思いました。
