Hi, My name is Michelle, I currently live in Spain with my two dogs Harry and George. I have recently completed my 100 hour TEFL course and am looking forward to teaching English to different people around the world.
I am learning Spanish and understand how daunting learning a new language can be, especially having the courage to speak it to native speakers. I am keen to share my knowledge of English with others while learning about different cultures and lifestyles. For me being able to have everyday conversations with people is the key to connecting with others, and this is why I have chosen to focus on conversational English.
Although some structure in lessons is important, I believe that talking to students about what they want to achieve, and how they learn is key to making lessons fun and will help improve students learning. I want to build confidence in my students so they feel they can speak English without being nervous. I am looking forward to helping and encouraging others to speak English.
I have travelled to many places around the world including India, Thailand, Indonesia and Australia to name a few, and enjoy meeting people with different backgrounds and lives.
I now live in a rural community in Spain and love the peace and quiet. I enjoy practicing yoga, walking with my dogs, and spending time with friends.
I would love to talk to you about travel, films, music and lifestyles. I look forward to meeting you in the classroom soon.
