Hello! I'm Cherry from the Philippines! 🇵🇭😊

I'm a friendly, patient, and passionate ESL tutor who loves helping students build their confidence in English. I believe that learning a language should be enjoyable, interactive, and tailored to each student's goals.

Outside of teaching, I enjoy playing tennis 🎾, swimming 🏊🏻‍♀️, singing 🎤, dancing 🎶, reading books 📚, and learning about different cultures and languages.

One of my greatest interests is Japan. I've had the opportunity to visit Japan twice because my aunt is married to a Japanese. Those experiences allowed me to appreciate the country's beautiful culture, breathtaking places, delicious food, and the kindness of its people. My love for Japan also inspired me to study Basic Nihongo a few years ago. Although I don't use Japanese regularly now, my studies gave me a better understanding of the challenges language learners face, which helps me become a more patient and understanding teacher.

In my classes, I focus on creating a relaxed and supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable expressing themselves. Whether you'd like to improve your conversational English, pronunciation, grammar, vocabulary, or speaking confidence, I'll customize our lessons to match your level, interests, and learning goals.
