I am from the city of Calgary, which is located in the province of Alberta, Canada. The city is approximately 80 km from the Canadian Rocky Mountains. The 1988 Winter Olympics were held in Calgary and the city is home to the Calgary Stampede. The Stampede is a 10-day event that takes place outdoors and features a rodeo, music concerts, First Nations Exhibits and a midway. In the summer I enjoy hiking in the mountains and biking on city pathways. In the winter, I enjoy ice skating and skiing.
I lived in Niigata for one year where I was an Assistant English Teacher for Junior High Students.
Helping others achieve their English language goals is exciting for me. Whether you are studying English in school or need to learn English for work or travel, I will ensure your language skills increase and that you will feel more confident when you use English.
My strengths are pronunciation, conversational English and sentence structure. I am patient and flexible and will adapt my style of teaching to what works best for the student.
