I tried a "free talk" this lesson. Thinking on my feet and making a response is challenging. But I think this lesson was a good training for me. Paul was kind enough to find good topics to talk about. Great lesson.

We told about various topics from art exhibition to DRM. I enjoyed today's lesson. I wish I could speak what I thought.

Today we read a story by Woolf. I tried to slow down for my clearer pronunciations. That seemed good for me. Through his lesson, I found I had misunderstood some words' pronunciations such as "basins" and "martyrs". Not surprisingly, oral reading is important!
Other than our reading practice, Barry pleasantly spoke of "chick flick" movies and the roosters' joyful chorus in the background.
Good lesson on the Sunday monrning.

For starters, I asked her a question about some English expressions. Her explanation was clear and I think that'll be helpful for me.
After that, we did Q&A practice about "free speech". It was a tad challenging for me, but Michelle told me not only words & phrases but also some specific examples about the topics.

As usual, we continued reading the story. Through his lesson, I found that I don't pronouce some certain vowels clearly when I read sentences hastily. By looking back his comments, I feel there seems a particular pattern of my unclear pronunciation.
Good advice & practice for me.

As usual, it was a very fun and an informative lesson.
Barry and I went through some sport-related idioms and euphemisms just as we did the last time.
I found today's lesson was rather challenging, but Barry was very encouraging and kind as usual :)
I will continue taking his lessons.
