今回は受けるつもりのなかった英検1級に申し込み、体調不良の中の一次試験でしたので、合格すると思わず、分かってからの突貫工事2週間。スピーチもしたことがなく、途方にくれていました。ネットでの情報収集、本の購入からのスタートでした。Fergal先生に模擬面接の中で、スピーチのコツ(表現、態度など)を教えて頂き、参考になりました。質疑応答については、これまでのレッスンで、Fergal先生とBBCニュース記事を用いたディスカッションを継続していたので、なんとかなりました。面接前の二週間の途中、いろいろな予定があって、今回は諦めようと思いましたが、先生に励まされ、最後まで頑張って良かったです。本番も先生の、「緊張を出さず、自然に」の教えを念頭に、内心は本当に緊張していましたが、会話を楽しんでいる態度で面接を受けました。二次試験も一度で合格出来たのは、さまざまな分野の記事を用いた、高品質のレッスンを続けてきた事が大きいと思います。ご指導、本当に有難うございました。これからももっと英語磨きに精進します。 |

My son is 7 yld and too shy to talk. And my son doesn't make a sentence in a conversation.son speaks just simple words.but Mr.John talks very kindly and ask him a lot of questions.my son likes him soooo much.(my son doesn't express his feelings so well.. hahaha) Anyway mr John is great teacher!!!!thank you!!!! |

We went over some words related to food from our lesson in the past, such as 'bland','mushy','greasy',and'lumpy'. I also learned a couple of unknown expressions like "cook up a storm," "Your eyes are bigger than your stomach," and "There's always room for something sweet at the end of the meal!"
