Thank you for the lesson, Ken! You always organize the lesson pretty well, so the student(5yo)enjoys talking with you and playing games, but by doing that, he speaks English and learns it, too. |

Interestingly, Frou introduced the same article that I read in another lesson. This article is actually very interesting. So two teachers showed me it. It's also a good practice for me to discuss it with another teacher. We discussed possibility for our government to introduce this technology. I talked about the necessity to compare it with existing technology and system. Frou pointed out a political barrier. It was interesting discussion. Thank you, Frou. See you. |

Today I read an article about types of investment. I learned what were stocks and bonds and how they worked. There are two types of stocks: common stocks, which majority of the stock owners own, and preferred stocks, which are way more expensive than common stocks. Those who own common stocks have a voting right but most of them do not go to shareholder's meetings. And the one of the biggest reasons for bonds' popularity is they are exempt from taxes. I learned a lot today. There were some topics that were difficult for me to grasp but Terry explained them to me using good examples. Thank you Terry. I really enjoyed your lesson. I can't wait our next reading. |

Today, I practiced the sentences with the phrase "had better" and learned that it can sound bossy. Rose and I also talked about topics such as school terms and temporary workers. Thank you for your nice and interesting lesson as usual, Rose. |

We read an article about investment. Today's topic was how technology has changed investiing. I learned that technology has made investing much more approachable and way less intimidating.I also learned some vocaburalies such as faring, holdings, brokerage, and custodian. It's so much fun to educate my self. Thank you Terry. |

I asked several questions I encountered while reading English newspapers. All her answers were so facsinating that I realized native spekers' sense of words. Amazing. |
