すっぽかし率12％、講師のキャンセル率16％だったので心配でした。約束の時間になってもスカイプの連絡先に招待されず15分過ぎました。Eigoxの画面には先生のステータスがレッスン中と出ているし、不安でした。15分過ぎたところでスカイプに招待状が出て受け入れたのですが、すぐ先生から電話をかけてきませんでしたので、こちらから電話しました。子供に時間が過ぎていることを先生に言わせると「え？今そっち何時？あ、心配しないで。じゃあ今から25分やるね。」と、まったく謝りの言葉もありませんでした。フィリピンと日本の時差が15分単位なわけではないと思います。私がじっと画面を見ずに他のことをしていたら、先生に「いましたよ」と言われてこちらのせいになってたのではないかと思ってしまいます。 初対面なので打ち解ける話とTOEICの10問テストのインターネット教材をお願いしていましたが、いきなり子供に先生が選んだ記事を読ませていました。子供がサイエンスが好きということでそうなったようですが、全て無視された感覚が否めません。 最初ではなく、最後に子供にいろいろ質問をしていましたが、お見合いではないので、親がどうやってお金を稼いでいるかを子供に聞く必要はないと思います。お母さんは？と聞かれて「〇〇」お父さんは？と聞かれて「死にました」と子供が答えていました。 教えるのは上手だと思いますが、こちらの希望を聞いてもらうとか、思いやりのある対応を求めるのは難しいかもしれません。 |
