 We mainly talked about the tourism in Japan. Local business in both urban areas and rural areas are devastated after Covid-19 pandemic. We have to find a way to revitalize Japanese tourism. After Go To Travel Campaign, some rural areas are experiencing higher volume visitors and have incited an equal mix of wrath and fear from many residents of rural areas. Some hotels and ryokans are thinking of opening their rooms to remote workers. In that way, they can get sustainable income and easily get consensus from local residents.

 ソフィー先生はハーフなので日本語がとても上手でした。わからない言い回しを日本語でつぶやいていると、さっと英語で教えてくれるので、「英語ではこういう言い方をするんだ」と確認できます。
英語もとてもクリアでわかりやすかったです。

3.ディスカッション
レッスン後に、レッスンレビュー欄で、発音ミスの指摘(発音記号あり)や会話上の文法ミスや言い間違えなどを指摘してくれます。

余計な雑談がなくインストラクターばかりが話すということもなく、目的を持って学べるので、この先生で長く続けたいと思います。

 １、フリートーク（話題は講師にお任せ）で予約していたのに何について話したいか聞かれ、特に希望ないと答えると困った顔をされた。講師のことを尋ねると嬉しそうに答えるが、私からの質問を待っているような感じで話が続かず、シーンとしてしまう瞬間が何度もあった。もっと主体的に質問とか話題を提供してほしい。
２、レッスン中に講師の携帯が大音量で鳴り、話が途切れた。特に謝るわけでもなく、悪いと思っている様子もなかった。レッスン中は携帯はマナーモードにしてほしい。
３、”間違いを積極的に指摘してほしい”と予約リクエストしていたが、指摘を一度もしてくれなかった。isとareを間違えたと直後に自分で気付いた時ですら、講師はスルーだった。教えようという姿勢が感じられない。

全体的に、英語のレッスンを受けているというよりも、彼女の近況を聞いてあげるカウンセラーにでもなったような気分だった。Eigoxのベテラン講師は素晴らしい方がたくさんいるので、レッスンを見学させてもらう等、勉強なさった方が良いのでは。
