We mainly talked about Japanese sake. A lot of restaurants overseas started to import sake from Japan and serve it. There are 156,000 restaurants serving sake in 2019, compared to only 24,000 in 2006. Amino-acid in sake matches very well with French. People in France are accustomed with drinking wine, but they want to drink something different. The star player for Japan's national soccer team began touring Japan to learn about traditional Japanese culture and visited craftsman. Now, he is using what he learned during the tour to help the sake industry, involve in a range of ventures to help sake become a genuinely global product. |
