 Today, I learned terms for ingredients about cooking that is my favorite field.
I found there are differences in use between Japanese and other countries.
Tablespoon : 15 cc
Teaspoon : 5 cc
a dash of : a pinch of, ex : sprinkle a dash of salt
package : all containers for ingredients which are not only hard-type but soft-type packages.
In most English cooking recipes, they use cup not weight because they sometimes don't have scales.
Containers are more convenient to measure than using weight measures.
It was very interesting lecture about cooking.
Interest makes me motivate to learn English.
