 We talked about a tragedy on the Keio line on Halloween in Tokyo. A crazy man dressed as the Joker, a comic hero from Batman, hurt a man and set the train on fire. To my surprise, the train station where the accident happened was 2 stops from my station! I always use the line to commute. I was very lucky because it happened on a Sunday. If it happened on a weekday then maybe I would've been on that train. In addition, a person took video of the accident for about 3 minutes with no shaking and at a steady angle. The video was uploaded to the internet. What a coincidence, that video looked so professional, and also there was a well-known crisis actor "H” in the video. I'm not sure whether it was just a conspiracy or not. Anyway, we enjoyed chatting about that. Time flies so fast when we have fun! I can't wait for the next time!
ハロウィーンの日に東京の京王線で起きた惨事について話しました。バットマンのジョーカーに扮した男が、人に怪我をさせ、電車に火をつけてしまったのです。驚いたことに、その事故のあった駅は私の駅から2駅のところでした。私はいつもこの路線を利用して通勤しています。それが日曜日だったのはとてもラッキーでした。もし平日だったら、私も乗っていたかもしれません。また、事故現場では、ある人が約3分間、手ぶれのない安定したアングルで動画を撮影していました。そのビデオはインターネットにアップロードされた。なんという偶然だろう、そのビデオはとてもプロフェッショナルに見えたし、しかもそのビデオには有名なクライシスアクターの「H」が出ていた。それが陰謀だったのかどうかはわからない。とにかく、そんな話で盛り上がりました。楽しい時間はあっという間に過ぎてしまいますね。次のレッスンが待ち遠しいです。

 We mainly talked about an election, held last week. A LDP-coalition government won more than half of the seats as we expected. A lot of aging politicians couldn't win at a single-seat constituency. I felt the alternation of generation. We also talked about each party's strategy for the election, especially what to do with self-defense force. The Japanese Communist party is in opposition to the US security forces in Japan. The LDP is trying to change the Constitution, whereby making the self defense forces more of a proactive force, not just for defense.
