伊能忠敬に続き、彼の師である高橋至時と高橋景保についてお話しました。江戸時代の天文方はかなり優秀で、江戸には 天文台があったそうで、それが北斎の浮世絵になっています。景保は優秀な人で洋書の翻訳などもしていたのに悲惨な最期を遂げたことが気の毒でなりません。 |
